Overgaard trees - I purchased these trees at the same time a few years ago They are both doing good the one tree is about seven feet tall. The other is only about five feet tall. The larger tree gets more sun than the small one. Raymond Gore's tree - thank you
The trees are In Overgaard Arizona on the Mogollon rim (not desert) at 6500 feet altitude. This is ponderosa pine country. Winters get well below freezing. When the trees turned a funny color in the winter I was afraid that I had lost them but I found out that was normal for them. Thank you Raymond
Sierra Vista giant sequoia - Thought I'd send along a photo of the tree that inspired me to give it a shot here in Sierra Vista, AZ. It is one mile from my home and is 30-35 feet tall and very densely branched and symmetrical as you can see.
