A full view of the giant sequoia located on 1691Sherman Way of South Lake Tahoe. The home and property are located in the Tahoe basin at about 6700 ft elevation. This area receives very deep snow every winter which may explain the flared trunk growth

Genoa trees - This area of Nevada is along the eastern bowl of Lake Tahoe. Many homes have some very beautiful well taken care of evergreens. This is one of many giant sequoias in the area at about 5800 feet.
Virginia City - This healthy tree is growing at about 6800 feet in Virginia City, the old mining town above Carson City. It is one of two that are irrigated and sitting above the Virginia City high school astro turf football field.
Reno sequoia grove - This is a plantation of giant sequoias in the back of the campus of UNReno. They are near the campus housing.
Cal Neva - This beautiful healthy tree is sitting on the Nevada side of the northern part of Tahoe right next to Cal Neva lodge and casino.
UNReno - Another great speciman on the campus of UNReno next to the Medical College. This area of the state of Nevada obviously know and love giant sequoias.
University of Nevada Reno - This is one of many healthy giant sequoias in the city of Reno on the UNR campus next to the football coliseum. Elevation is about 6000 feet.
