This package contains 10 interior live oak (Quercus wislizeni) seedlings. These seedlings are 4 to 6 inches tall and are from our 2011 crop. These seedlings are container grown and will be shipped in the container that they are growing in. The transplant success rate of our container grown stock is 100% if proper care is provided. The picture was taken on 6/22/12. The interior live oak (Quercus wislizenii) is native to the Sierra Nevada foothills to 5000 feet in elevation, the eastern side of Coast Ranges and interior valleys from southern Oregon to Southern California. The interior live oak is hardy in zones 7-9, 14-16, and 18-21. The interior live oak is an evergreen tree, growing to 75 feet in height, often broader than high, with a dense, rounded canopy. This tree is a handsome tree for parks and big lawns. Interior live oaks provide important food and cover for a wide variety of birds and mammals.
