Italy

  • In the city of Campobassa there several sequoia trees and 4 of them are Sequoiadendron giganteum transplanted at the beginning of the 20th century. The tree to the right is very ill whereas the left one is full of vitality. Contributed by Prof. Giuseppe Lima of U. of Molise. The ill tree will be getting some treatment for its health.
  • Sergio shows us just how large the trunk is of the giant sequoia in Italy.
  • Sergio sent us this awesome giant sequoia from near a small village named Pollone, close to Biella, Piemonte, Italy
